Signature Cocktails at Our Financial District Rooftop Bar
Our cocktail program is a tribute to the local cityscape views that make our rooftop bar an unforgettable experience. A few of the standouts that are popular with our guests include:
Gatsby Retreat
A bold cocktail featuring a blend of Don Julio Blanco, Mezcal Union, and Amaro Nonion, paired with orange and grapefruit bitters. An orange and lemon peel is added on top.
This cocktail is perfect for rooftop bars, especially if you’re outside during the summer time. The smokiness of the Mezcal combined with the herbal flavor of the Amaro Nonino are perfect for any summer evening looking out at the city skyline.
Together, the flavors in our Gatsby Retreat are designed to evoke the opulence of the Roaring Twenties.
Cornell Crown
We designed our Cornell Crown to embody Cornell’s tough spirit. It is made with:
- Crown Royal apple whiskey
- Fresh apple cider
- Lemon juice
- Maple syrup
- Cinnamon stick
The tart flavor of the whiskey, cider, and lemon contrast with the sweetness of the maple syrup, creating a unique flavor. The cinnamon stick provides an aromatic experience, perfect for fall.
Ivy League Black Tie
Part of our Espresso Martini collection, our Ivy League Black Tie is made with a mix of Zacapa Dark Rum, Double Espresso, Coffee Liqueur, and simple syrup. It’s our unique twist on a classic espresso martini.
While most espresso martinis use vodka, we use Zapaca Dark Rum because it creates a deep, caramel-like flavor. This sweetness acts as a foundation for the whole cocktail, standing up against the espresso’s bitterness. Try it for yourself if you’re looking for the ultimate drink to sustain you throughout the night.
Kensington Royale
This take on an espresso martini features Ketel One Vodka and espresso, paired with Creme de Cacao and cinnamon syrup. Compared to the boldness of the rum and coffee in the Ivy League Black Tie, this cocktail delivers a more dessert-forward experience
The result is a rich, warm, and slightly chocolatey flavor. The Creme de Cacao provides a velvety chocolate base that complements the acidity from the espresso.
The Kensington Royale is perfect to enjoy after dinner as the evening progresses. It’s rich enough to be a liquid dessert, but balanced enough to keep your energy high as the night goes on.
Madison Mule
We tried to capture Madison Avenue’s chic energy in a cocktail. Our take on a mule is made from Don Julio Reposado, ginger beer, and fresh lime juice. It’s combined with grapefruit bitters, and finished with a lime wheel and mint sprig.
By using Don Julio Reposado and grapefruit, we counteract the heavy sweetness that characterizes traditional mules. Ours has an earthy, citrusy, and aromatic depth.
